Welcome To Rhein International Academy!
Topics by Subject Area
Rhein International Academy uses the Open Court Reading Program for grades 1-6, which takes the different skills involved in reading, writing, speaking and spelling and weaves them together for a comprehensive presentation for the students. Grades 7 and 8 use the Literature, Reading with a Purpose series from Glencoe, a part of McGraw-Hill Publishers. The different grade levels learn their age appropriate language skills as they read and study stories tied around a central theme or a specific genre.

Religious Studies
Rhein International Academy is a partner school with the Network of International Christian Schools (NICS), which currently has schools in 15 countries. One aspect all NICS schools share is an emphasis on ethics and values as a core part of our curriculum. We base our teachings upon principles found within the Bible. Helpfulness, sharing, integrity, and good character are just some of the aspects that we weave into our daily lessons at all grade levels.
The middle school curriculum we use comes from the Association of Christians Schools International (ACSI). As with the subjects of science and social studies, the teachers alternate each year which grade level resources they will use.
