Most NICS schools are accredited by one or more of the following associations:
- Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC)
- Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)
- Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSACS)
- Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI)
NOTE: Most accrediting agencies have a minimum number of years that a school must be in existence before it is eligible for accreditation.Rhein International Academy is preparing itself for the initial candidacy process. Transfer credits, however, are readily accepted by other international schools.
